Dr. G Shivaprasad, eminent ophthalmologist is the Secretary of Sri Siddhartha Education Society (SSES). He shoulders the responsibility to steer all the institutions of the society along the lines envisaged by his father. He is an authority on Buddha and his philosophy, excellent orator and a great teacher, also the director of Sri Siddhartha Medical College (SSMC); one of the well known medical colleges in Karnataka.

SSES have shown remarkable growth and progress under the stewardship of
Dr. G. ShivaPrasad who is carrying forward the noble traditions of his illustrious father Shikshana Bhishma H.M. Gangadharaiah.
        
Having obtained MBBS and MS from BMC and Minto ophthalmic Hospital, he had a brief spell of Govt. service at district hospital Tumkur and Chitradurga. He has been working as a teaching faculty in Dept. of Ophthalmology, SSMC.

Steeped up in spirituality and noble traditions of Buddhist Philosophy
Dr. G. ShivaPrasad has a vision and mission to give not only sight for the blind but also insight and foresight of knowledge and wisdom to students and society at large. Spirit of sacrifice and service has been his creed. He has actively participated in many blindness relief eye camps. He has also actively involved in the programs of IMA Tumkur, to provide medico social relief to rural poor.

Dr. G Parameshwara

MSc.(Agri), Ph.D(Australia), MISPP, MISTE.,

Dr G Parameshwara, younger son of H M Gangadharaiah. He holds Ph.D in Agricultural Science from Waite Agricultural Research Institute, University of Adelaide , Australia . He was also a fellow of the Indian Institute of Agricultural Technologist .

Able leader, reformer, facilitator, motivator, and a down-to-earth pragmatist, he believes that education must have practical applications to be valuable. He is the Joint Secretary of SSES.
To Dr Parameshwara, good education is imperative for human welfare.

Political Career:
He has served as Minister under different ministries of Government of Karnataka from 1993. Presently he represents Koratagere constituency in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.

• Minister for Sericulture from 1993 to 1994.
• Minister for Higher Education, Science and Technology, Medical Education from 1999 to 2001.
• Minister for Higher Education and Information from 2003-2004

Prof. C N Narashima Murthy, an economist – academician by profession, ex- Principal of Govt. degree college for years, now manages about 84 institutions functioning under the aegis of SSES. Such a gigantic task he is able to do with his prowess being agile despite his growing age. His demeanour is terrific while sticking to rules but his soft, tender heart is something unique for which he has become the able administrator for all of us. Prof. Murthy, the one among the few, is the key architect in establishing Tumkur University. He has shown his sagacity, in the past decade, to nurture the Siddhartha Group of Institutions to its commanding height; SSIMS is notably one among them.

Dr. M Subramanya He has acquired his M.Sc.,(Stats), P.G.D.P.M., D.I.P.(T&D), Ph.D. degrees.

He has also presented many papers in the national and international seminars on Customer Relation Management, Foreign Trade International Marketing, Tourism Strategies and Allied Management subjects of which a few of them has won awards nationally and internationally. He is the pioneer personality in India who has ventured Industry Integrated MBA programmes.

Principal's Message

SSIMS is a post graduate and research institution offering specially designed courses in the field of Business Management and Administration. With thirteen years of its existence, the college has registered its dynamic presence in the field of education in Karnataka and true to our motto; SSIMS has emerged as a ‘trend setter in education’, creating Fire Brand Managers. Education at SSIMS is holistic and caters to the overall personality, skill and knowledge development of our students, equipping them for a fulfilling professional career along with requisite societal consciousness, vocational self-concept, job relevant skills and informed career decision making ability, rather than just focusing on narrow syllabus oriented academic schedules.

Our SSIMS INDUSTRY INTERFACE PROGRAMME (SIIP) is an excellent initiative in this regard. This initiative aims to offer collaborative learning opportunities for students with the multinational companies and other places, thus transforming their potentials greatly and grooming them for future challenges.
